Capotes (long cloak or soldier's coat, usually with a hood) were worn by trappers and mountain men of the American Northwest and the Canadian frontier - men who understood the warmth, durability and dependability of wool for the extreme conditions they encountered. These coats were originally made from wool blankets until wool material became available in bulk. Available in two colors: Brown with Red stripe or Grey with Yellow stripe on hem and sleeve cuffs.
